  • For non-linear navigability, using either Flourish embedded network visualization or Mermaid in interactive mode (available to build within Notion)
    • Tradeoffs here: Mermaid (open-source code) is more long-term sustainable than Flourish (cloud-based); but for interactivity, Mermaid requires setting security settings to be set to “loose” rather than “strict” (see documentation)
  • To generate stand-alone maps of how manuscripts relate across the Harriot Papers, we will prioritize Mermaid in Notion, with export to SVG via HTML for publication (web and print).
